The Opportunity:
CACI is currently looking for a Junior Angular Front-End Developer with agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
As a member of the BEAGLE ASF Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP agents and officers are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

Responsibilities:
As a Junior Angular Front-End Developer, you will contribute to the effort of migrating and rebuilding user interfaces from legacy tech stacks like Dojo and platforms like Salesforce into a modern, unified Angular application. This role supports the transformation of existing systems and helps deliver an improved user experience to support the security of our borders.
+ Assist in migrating user screens from existing applications to Angular, under guidance from senior team members.
+ Help develop and implement custom Angular components, modules, and services, contributing to the new front-end architecture.
+ Collaborate with fellow developers, UI/UX designers, and product owners to support product delivery.
+ Learn and apply modern Angular best practices and contribute to maintaining a consistent design system.
+ Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
+ Assist in analyzing existing application logic within legacy screens and help implement solutions in Angular.
Qualifications:
_Required:_
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include but are not limited to:
+ 3 year check for felony convictions
+ 1 year check for illegal drug use
+ 1 year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
+ Must be available to work a hybrid schedule in Ashburn, VA
+ College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
+ Professional Experience: At least three (3) years of dedicated front-end software development experience, with a significant track record in large-scale application modernization and migration projects.
+ Basic knowledge of Angular, including component-based architecture, routing, and state management.
+ Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.
+ Understanding of UI performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
+ Ability to create basic Angular components and services under guidance.
+ Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
+ Ability to translate simple UI/UX designs into functional Angular components.
+ Strong interest in continuous learning and staying updated with Angular ecosystem trends.
+ Good communication skills and ability to work in an Agile team environment.
+ Basic familiarity with front-end build tools, package managers (npm/yarn), and version control systems (Git).
_Desired:_
+ Basic knowledge of Angular, including component-based architecture, routing, and state management.
+ Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS.

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$72,700 - $149,200
