    About the Data Governance Policy Compliance Team

    Our team is dedicated to building and maintaining robust data governance policies that support Walmart’s strategic goals. We ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and promote best practices across the organization. This role plays a key part in translating complex regulations into actionable policies that empower informed decision-making and business agility.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + Develop and maintain data governance policies and standards

    + Translate regulatory requirements into actionable controls

    + Guide stakeholders to ensure policy alignment and compliance

    + Collaborate with SMEs to review and refine governance frameworks

    + Monitor compliance and support training initiatives

    What you’ll bring

    + Experience in data governance and regulatory compliance

    + Strong understanding of privacy laws (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA)

    + Proven ability to develop policies and manage exception processes

    + Skills in regulatory mapping and audit preparation

    + Excellent communication and stakeholder management

    Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities.     The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

    Minimum Qualifications...

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.

     

    2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
