    We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Automation Manager** to oversee and enhance our automation processes. The successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems to ensure optimal production efficiency, product quality, and safety.

    What you’ll be doing:

    -System Management:** Oversee automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, and other control systems.

     

    -Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

     

    -Maintenance and Troubleshooting:** Ensure timely maintenance of automation equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

     

    -Project Management:** Lead automation projects from conception to completion, including planning, execution, and commissioning.

     

    -Team Leadership:** Supervise and train a team of automation technicians and engineers.

     

    -Compliance:** Ensure all automation processes comply with industry standards and regulations.

     

    -Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of automation systems, including schematics, manuals, and maintenance logs.

    What you’ll bring:

    -Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

     

    -Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the dairy or food industry.

     

    -Technical Skills:** Proficient in PLC programming, SCADA systems, HMI design, and industrial networking.

     

    -Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

     

    -Leadership:** Proven ability to lead and manage a team.

     

    -Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

     

    -Project Management:** Experience in managing automation projects.

     

    -Software Proficiency:** Experience with advanced automation software and tools (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens).

    Minimum Qualifications...

    Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR Associate’s degree and 4 years’ experience working with automated systems in a manufacturing or distribution facility OR 5 years’ maintenance experience in industrial control system development and troubleshooting.

    Dairy, food processing or manufacturing environment requiring knowledge of industry and governmental regulations (for example, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Management experience including responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, and project planning and implementation, Programming and troubleshooting automated control systems (for example, integration, electronics, robotics, fiber optic sensors, pneumatic-hydraulic controls, touch panels, programmable logic controls (PLC), human machine interface (HMI)) and utilizing one-line and electrical schematic design, electrical equipment control, instrumentation, and configuration (for example, pump/Variable Frequency Drive, Allen Bradley, Factory Talk, Siemens, and B&R brand controllers and systems)
