    JOB SUMMARY

    The Meter to Cash (M2C) team is seeking an analyst with a passion for project management and process improvement to lead improvement initiatives across the department. M2C owns a range of processes that are critical to the customer experience and Entergy’s revenue stream. This position will work with senior leaders and functional managers to define scope and objectives of a wide variety of projects to operationalize effective and efficient business practices across all M2C teams. This will include such practices as strategic planning and analysis, O&M and Capital budgeting, data driven problem solving, visualization and standardizing processes. This role will utilize operational data insights to facilitate key problem-solving sessions to drive teams to determine root cause and help to establish actions plans to close gaps. This role requires developing and maintaining an understanding of M2C business processes and systems to proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste. This position is expected to keep key stakeholders, including executives and M2C leaders, updated on progress, hurdles, timelines, etc. on key initiatives via various mediums including Power BI and Power Point.

     

    This position will be responsible for supporting other M2C groups and leading them through the process improvement methodology to develop and implement innovative technological and business solutions, to enable the business to meet its objectives. This position will also serve as a mentor to junior analysts. The role is highly visible and will work with multiple stakeholders, spanning across several portfolios, corporate teams, IT groups, and external partners. This role will interact frequently with senior leadership and provide tactical and strategic support on multiple levels.

     

    **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** :

    + Utilize data insights to drive root cause problem solving within the operating teams to drive sustainable results

    + Lead initiatives to drive enhancements to the M2C processes, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodologies.

    + Align stakeholders around initiative vision and keep them informed on progress and key performance indicators.

    + Provide performance transparency through metrics and reporting to drive execution of enhancements timely and accurately and with urgency.

    + Facilitate continuous improvement exercises and coaching to identify and design solutions to improve the M2C processes.

    + Create and manage engaging presentations in Power Point and Power BI to provide concise and timely updates to all stakeholders.

    + Mentor junior analysts to increase their analytical skills to improve overall group performance.

    + Must be able to work in a team environment, manage multiple time critical projects simultaneously, and operate in a highly visible and rapidly changing work environment.

     

    Minimum Requirements - Education

     

    Bachelor's Degree in a technical, economics or business field required, or equivalent work experience will be accepted, Masters’ degree is preferred.

     

    Minimum Requirements - Experience

     

    7+ years of related professional experience. In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related professional experience is required.

     

    Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

     

    Demonstrated experience with strategic or long-term business planning, complex problem analysis and solution implementation, or transformational process improvement projects. High level of quantitative skills with Microsoft Excel or similar tools applied for problem analysis, and strong competencies with PowerPoint and Word required.
