As a **Data Analytics Technology Specialist** you will be responsible for leading a team of support analysts and providing guidance, technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers using GCP BigQuery.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and communicate updates to customers, while continually monitoring and analyzing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in GCP BigQuery's performance and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers succeed in GCP cloud adaptation by providing support and value to the customer in using GCP BigQuery.
What you'll do...
+ Test and deploy new features to enhance GCP BigQuery service to improve customer experience
+ Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets in a timely and professional manner
+ Troubleshoot technical issues related to GCP BigQuery, including SQL queries, data ingestion and export, and security settings
+ Escalate complex issues to senior technical support personnel or engineering teams as necessary
+ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues
+ Stay up-to-date on new GCP BigQuery features and capabilities, and communicate these to customers as appropriate
+ Participate in the development of customer-facing documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles to improve customer self-service capabilities
+ Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and communicate product bugs, feature requests, and opportunities for improvement
+ On-call responsibilities: Willing to provide 24x7 Production support on rotation basis. Required to work on weekends, off hours, holidays on rotation basis
You'll have...
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
+ 8+ years of experience in a technical support role, with a focus on data warehousing or cloud computing. Experience developing solutions using IAC.
+ Experience working with GCP BigQuery, SQL, and related Google Cloud Platform tools (e.g. Dataform, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.)
+ Experience in developing Terraform modules
+ Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g. GitHub etc.)
+ Experience in developing GitHub/CI/CD pipelines to deploy IAC (Infrastructure As Code)
+ Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
+ Familiarity with Linux/Unix/Powershell/Phython command line interface
+ Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

+ Certifications in GCP preferred
+ Strong understanding of data warehousing and cloud computing concepts
+ Good understanding and overall knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and how the GCP native services operate
+ Knowledge of GCP BigQuery ML, Gemini and GCP BigQuery Data transfer tools
+ Strong understanding and experience in migrating applications to BigQuery
+ Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (e.g. GitHub etc.)
+ Deep understanding and experience in SQL performance tuning
+ Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
+ Experience with data modeling and schema design
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Desire to continually learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
