A Typical Day for a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with The Village:
+ Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) for overall nursing leadership within our 54-bed Health Center.
+ Evaluate the quality of resident care, monitor compliance with current laws, process improvements and assist in implementing best practices.
+ Orienting, training and supervision of team members.
+ Assist in resident evaluations, and serve as a liaison for team member shift transitions.
+ Participate in surveys and inspections by various government agencies and more!
Current Opening:
**Full-Time:** Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm with flexible hours, rotating on-call schedule throughout the month

Education

+ Bachelors or better in Nursing
Licenses & Certifications
Required
+ Registered Nurse
Experience
Required
+ Active RN license in the state of Iowa is preferred but an LPN licenses is required
+ 5 years: 5+ years of nursing experience within a long-term care setting
Preferred
+ Previous nursing leadership experience in a long-term care setting is highly preferred
