Position Summary:

We seek to fill an administrative assistant position to be a supportive force, empowering senior leadership and their staff. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to managers.
The position will largely be located at Fordham College, Rose Hill, but there may be occasions where support is needed at Fordham College, Lincoln Center. Given the dynamic, caring, and
people-oriented mission of Fordham, we rely on executive assistants to be flexible and consistent while maintaining the confidentiality of high-level systems and operations.
Essential Functions:
Supports the academic leader and provides additional support to executive team members, as directed, to ensure that operations run efficiently.
Maintains and refines internal processes that support the executive team, and coordinates internal and external resources to expedite workflows.
Manages communication by liaising with internal and external stakeholders on various projects and tasks.
Plans and orchestrates work to ensure that senior executives’ priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.
Manages meetings and communications, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, and other professional logistics.
Coordinates complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior leaders.
Provides administrative and office support, such as minutes, meeting coordination, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of filing systems.
Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.
Organizes team communications and supports event planning.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of four years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience in overseeing purchase expenses.
Experience in developing internal processes and filing systems.
Minimum Salary: $65,000
Maximum Salary: $75,000
