What You'll Do
**Distribution Technology** is seeking a **motivated, collaborative, and experienced technology leader** who values servant leadership and is passionate about developing people and maturing modern software engineering practices.
As a **Software Engineering Leader** , you will guide teams in delivering high-quality, innovative technology solutions that advance our business goals. You’ll play an essential role in shaping our technology direction, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented culture, and building strong partnerships across Principal.

Who You Are
+ Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 6+ years work experience or equivalent experience.
+ Formal/informal HR leadership experience is required.
+ 3+ years of professional experience working with cloud development (ex: AWS), SaaS solutions, CRM (ex: Salesforce) or other engineering platforms.
+ Experience demonstrating a product and agile mindset.
+ Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
+ Must have the desire to learn new technology and continuously grow.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$100800 - $147000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments
This position is located in our corporate office in Des Moines, IA, and offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) in Des Moines, IA.
