    **Description:** What We're Doing:

     

    Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering college intern candidate to join our team based out of King of Prussia, PA\. This position is in the C4ISR \(command, control, communications, computers \(C4\), intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance \(ISR\)\) market segment of the Rotary and Mission Systems \(RMS\) division\.

    The Work:

    In this role, the candidate will support the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System \(TTWCS\) Systems Engineering \(SE\) team\. The successful candidate will work on an agile team and be responsible for supporting the integration of new capabilities or upgrading existing systems including efforts such as requirements development/traceability, SE tools, SE supporting artifacts and models\. The candidate should be a well\-rounded engineer with broad experience and possess strong technical writing skills\.

    Who We Are:

    At the RMS Valley Forge site, we have a portfolio of programs supporting the C4ISR Market Segment\. The TTWCS program is a major part of this effort where a large set of engineers from multiple domains work collaboratively with other DoD engineers to develop and update a capable product for our customers\.

    Who You Are:

    Candidate is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Sciences and Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM field from an accredited college\. They are a US citizen and capable of obtaining a US SECRET security clearance \(sponsored by LM\) prior to starting\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a BS degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Sciences and Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM field\.

    • Understanding of system engineering concepts, requirements development, and computer security fundamentals\.

    • Must be a US Citizen\.; This position will require a government security clearance\.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.

    Desired Skills:

    • Familiarity with developing system requirements, interfaces, or architectures using Model Based Systems Engineering \(MBSE\) tools and techniques

    • Familiarity with requirements development, analysis and management

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office\.

    • Familiarity with system engineering tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, DOORS, IBM ELM, and/or Jira\.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work well in an agile team environment\.

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Clearance Level:** Secret

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
