Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems \(RMS\) in Owego, New York is seeking a full time Summer 2026 Electrical / Mechanical Intern\. In this role, you will work closely with the team of engineers involving some of the following tasks:

\-Assist with lab build, rack assembly, integration efforts, continuity testing of equipment and cable harness

\-Assist in electrical cable harness assembly and mechanical panel assembly for military platforms or associated lab environments

\-Assist with entering bills of material and kitting parts for assembly

\-Assist in design efforts, either in Creo and or Zuken E3 design domains as time permits

The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail\-focused, team\-focused and capable of multi\-tasking\.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree program in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, math, or physics

• Willingness to work onsite

• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance\. This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.

Desired Skills:

• Strong technical writing

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $29,598 \- $64,168\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\.
