    Job Description:

    The Senior Graphic Designer leads the creation of high-quality designs for marketing and public relations materials, ensuring brand consistency across all visual communications. They provide strategic creative direction, guide design best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance brand presence. Additionally, they produce, edit, and deliver digital media for multimedia presentations and web applications, driving innovations in visual storytelling.

    Essential Functions

    + Develops creative concepts and visual strategies that align with Select Health’s marketing and business goals. Ensures brand consistency and innovation in visual communications. Collaborates with marketing specialists to define and refine creative direction across campaigns and initiatives.

    + Offers creative leadership and mentorship to junior designers. Conducts design critiques to maintain high execution standards. Advises internal stakeholders, translating marketing goals into effective visual solutions.

    + Manages complex design projects from concept to production, ensuring top-tier execution. Keeps up with industry trends and new technologies to enhance SelectHealth’s creative output.

    + Leads large-scale design projects, managing timelines, priorities and deliverables. Build and maintain vendor relationships to optimize quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Oversees outsources projects to ensure brand consistency and timely execution.

    + Leads digital media development, including motion graphics, UI/UX design, interactive content, and multimedia assets. Ensures technical excellence in video editing and web-based design solutions.

    Qualifications

    + **Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Web Development, or Marketing. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.**

    + **Eight years of experience in graphic design, multimedia, or related field.**

    + **Proven experience leading creative direction, managing large-scale projects and providing mentorship to designers.**

    + **Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other design-related software.**

    + **Knowledge of UI/UX best practices, motion graphics and digital media trends.**

    + **Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, marketing leadership and external vendors.**

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute creatively to achieve marketing objectives.

    + Experience in brand development and identity evolution for corporate or agency environments.

    + Strong presentation skills and ability to advocate for creative solutions with executives and stakeholders.

    + Experience leading workshops, training sessions or design critiques to support team growth and creative excellence.

    + Knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG) for digital design.

    + Experience with AI-driven design tools or emerging creative technologies.

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

     

    $33.75 - $53.16
