Digital Account Operations Specialist
The Digital Account Operations Specialist is responsible for the review and decisioning of new client applications and advanced processing of existing client change requests according to regulatory requirements and departmental processes and procedures. Working under moderate to low supervision, this job supports other banking professionals to ensure that critical tasks are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
+ Reviews and processes new client applications according to regulatory requirements related to Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
+ Validates client information using third-party verification tools such as Lexis Nexis and Experian.
+ Performs advanced application research regarding client-submitted applications before onboarding and responding to client inquiries.
+ Handles complex title applications such as trusts and states; handles existing client title change requests.
+ Performs client outreach utilizing verification tools to obtain necessary documents from the new client before onboarding; performs due diligence checks and questions related to client-submitted applications.
+ Ensures work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with banking policies and procedures.
+ Supports training of new team members.
+ Assists with user acceptance testing (UAT) where applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
+ 3+ years of expertise in operational account services and customer support.
+ Proven ability to navigate complex banking procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
+ Skilled in performing detailed reviews and processing new client applications in alignment with KYC, CIP, and OFAC requirements.
+ Adept at validating client information using third-party verification tools such as LexisNexis and Experian.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various banking software applications, with strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
