    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Regional Facilities Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of a team responsible for building maintenance and facility management across a dedicated region. This role is part of the broader Facilities Management team, focused on ensuring operational excellence, delivering repair and maintenance support, and fostering strong partnerships with clients, property managers, and landlords.

     

    You will provide leadership and oversight for approximately four designated sites, with quarterly travel (approximately 25%) to three of those locations. When not traveling, you will serve as the primary onsite contact for the client in Tucson, AZ—building strong relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients through consistent and proactive communication.

    + Travel approximately 25% to conduct quarterly site visits, audits, and client engagement at three remote locations.

    + Lead regular performance review meetings to assess CBRE’s service delivery, identify areas for improvement, and explore opportunities for growth.

    + Prepare and submit detailed reports including property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, and facility audits.

    + Establish and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with contract specifications and service standards.

    + Provide strategic leadership to team members, ensuring effective training and development programs are in place. Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer coaching to enhance skills and productivity.

    + Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to attract top talent aligned with organizational goals.

    + Manage daily team operations, including scheduling, task assignments, and cross-training to optimize efficiency and productivity.

    + Set and monitor deadlines for staff and departmental objectives, providing guidance and support as needed.

    + Prepare and present project proposals to secure stakeholder approval.

    + Develop strategic facility management plans tailored to client needs, including capital project planning, operating budgets, and variance reporting.

    + Conduct periodic facility inspections to ensure quality assurance and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Lead by example, modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE’s RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).

    + Collaborate across disciplines to achieve team and departmental goals, recognizing the interconnected nature of facility operations.

    + Investigate, diagnose, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues within existing systems and processes.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    + Must reside in the Tucson, AZ area.

    + Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including staffing, selection, training, and performance management.

    + Intermediate level understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.

    + Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to timely client responses.

    + Familiarity with commercial lease terms is a plus.

    + Project or construction management experience preferred.

    + Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

    + Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

    + Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and interpret financial data.

    + Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
