Position Details:

+ **Location:** Tampa, FL

+ **Status:** Full Time (non-exempt)

+ **Shift:** 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday

The RN Medical Group - Specialty is responsible for:

+ Supports the physician's office health care teamIndependently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards and protocols, delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

+ Provide direct patient care and oversee clinic operations

+ Train, schedule, and evaluate staff to ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

+ Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams to resolve barriers to care

+ Escalate complex clinical, social, or environmental issues to the appropriate channels

+ Support patients with high acuity needs and identify alternative care pathways when necessary

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Required Certification and Licensure:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) and

+ RN (Registered Nurse) License - Florida Dept of Health

+ CVRN (Cardiovascular RN) Certification or CHFN (Clinical Heart Failure Nurse) or CCTC (Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator) or VAD (Ventricular Assist Device)

Education:

+ Required Associates in Nursing

+ Preferred Bachelors in Nursing

Experience:

+ Required 2 or more years of RN experience

+ **Highly Preferred:** 3+ years in cardiology, heart failure, or related specialty

+ Preferred 1-year Medical Office experience
