You'll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities
+ Technical responsibility for the development of advanced systems incorporating AI/ML and autonomous capabilities
+ Manage systems integration laboratory setup and resources
+ Communicate updates and progress to project leadership on a regular basis
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
+ Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
+ Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
+ Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
+ Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB
+ Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to requirements management, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
+ Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
+ Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
+ Exposure to baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
+ Understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
+ Hands-on experience in systems integration laboratories and system modelling/simulation environments.
+ Familiarity with ISR operations, aircraft, and sensors

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
