Siena University invites applications for the position of Office Coordinator in the School of Liberal Arts Office. This is a full-time, 10-month position (mid-August through mid-June) that reports to the Assistant Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and provides a competitive salary and excellent benefits. This position acts as the face of the office and warmly welcomes students, faculty, and visitors and directs questions and inquiries to the appropriate personnel while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. The Office Coordinator manages purchase orders, contracts, and budgets for School of Liberal Arts departments, and oversees the School Office student workers. The Office Coordinator assigns faculty advisors to students, provides School event planning support, and maintains office files and records. The Office Coordinator works closely with the Dean, the Associate Dean of Faculty, and the Assistant Dean on special projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
+ General office coordination and file and record management
+ Assist faculty and staff with purchasing; track and receive all orders
+ Maintain and analyze budgets for the School of Liberal Arts, its academic departments, and centers.
+ Assigns faculty advisors to students
+ Handle all travel requests for faculty and students and process travel expense reports.
+ Provide support and problem-solving assistance for students, faculty, and administrators in the School of Liberal Arts and assist with other duties as assigned.
Salary: $21.41/hour

Job Requirements:
A BA/BS or commensurate experience is required. Proficiency in all MS Office Professional Suite and Google applications is also required. The successful applicant should have well-developed oral and written communication skills and excellent organizational and analytical skills. Additional desirable qualifications include excellent attention to detail, customer service experience, ability to balance multiple projects, and flexibility to learn new methodologies, technologies, and systems. Specifically, applicants should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
