Description:
Position Purpose
At Saint Francis Hospital the Congestive Heart Failure Unit provides care to adults with a variety of medical diagnoses, including, but not limited to, cardiac conditions such as AFIB, CAD, STEMI, pacemaker, ICD placements and soon LVADs. Our newly renovated 32 bed unit is a nationally recognized Center Of Excellence for Heart Failure. Primary patient diagnosis on this unit is acute or chronic CHF.
What You’ll Do
• Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and throughput
• Support performance management and regulatory compliance
• Promote evidence-based practices and clinical excellence
• Foster a healing, inclusive, and respectful environment
• Lead through change and innovation
• Build trusting relationships and model compassionate communication
What You’ll Need
Required:
+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program
+ Current RN license in Connecticut
+ BSN from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred:
+ MSN degree
+ Leadership experience or relevant certifications
Work Schedule
+ 40 hours Days – Full-time
