Housekeeper
Position Summary: Under general supervisions, performs routine service duties associated with maintaining the Hospital in a clean, orderly and sanitary conditions. Responsible for performing general housekeeping duties such as but not limited to emptying wastebaskets; vacuums and/or damp dusts ceilings, vents, drapery rods, etc; cleans walls, doors, and window; dust mops, damp mops floors and stairwells; vacuums and spot cleans carpet, etc.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1 Demonstrates ability to treat each patient, visitor, and employee in a courteous and compassionate manner.
2 Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
3 Ability to receive and understand directions.
4. Able to see problems outside scope of responsibility and take corrective action.
5. Ability to adjust to changing conditions and varied work loads.
6. Able to see problems outside scope of responsibility and take corrective action.
7. Ability to work as a member of a team.
8. Ability to articulate and demonstrate commitment to the philosophy, code of ethics/value, mission and vision of Mercy General Health Partners.
24 hours per pay period
Primary Evening shift; Secondary Night shift
2:30 to 11pm and 1030pm to 7am
Every other weekend; Possible 3 of 4
