    JOB SUMMARY

    PIP is growing and seeking a Front-End Web Developer to join our IT team in Latham, NY. Reporting to the Director of IT, Digital Platforms, you’ll help build and optimize industry-leading websites and applications that support our global business. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to design engaging, high-performance digital experiences that showcase our brand. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented developer who’s passionate about clean design, modern UI/UX, and delivering seamless user interactions in a fast-paced environment.

     

    THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION IN LATHAM, NY.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Interacting with dynamic data from multiple sources (PIM / ERP)

    + Create responsive website applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass, Laravel, Bootstrap, jQuery, Vue JS

    + Organize complex data sets and develop unique, user-friendly experiences

    + Testing and debugging

    + Maintain and develop existing company websites in Big Commerce and Shopify

    CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

    + 1-4 years of experience in Front End Development

    + Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or similar field preferred

    + Advanced skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass

    + Experience with version control software (GitHub)

    + Hand code PHP to develop custom web applications

    + Adobe Creative Suite experience

    + Highly detail oriented

    + Ability to problem solve complex issues quickly and efficiently

    + Proven ability to work with a high-paced, dynamic team
