Position Summary:
We’re seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented **Foodservice Sales Support** professional to help launch, grow, and sustain food and beverage programs in convenience stores across Northeast Ohio. This **hybrid** role blends **sales administration (~60%)** with **field-based foodservice support (~40%)** and flexes by week based on program launches, seasonal sets, and customer needs.
You’ll keep our sales engine organized (items, pricing, promos, reporting), and you’ll also be in stores helping operators execute: resets, training, signage, and LTO deployments. Success looks like clean execution, reduced waste, and steady sales lift.
Location
Reports into the Cleveland OpCo (located in Glenwillow, OH) with primary weekly functions covering the greater Cleveland area with regional day travel based on business needs
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation (hourly) commensurate with experience. Role includes **Cardata** mileage reimbursement and a **$50/month** cell phone stipend, plus full benefits beginning Day 1.
What You’ll Do
Sales Administration (approx. 60%)
+ Process item adds/price loads; set up promos/LTOs; maintain menus/daypart assortments.
+ Pull weekly sales & waste reports; flag voids, OOS, and margin issues; prep customer recaps and decks.
+ Coordinate with vendors on POS kits, rebates, samples, and installs; maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline tasks.
+ Build simple planograms/one‑pagers; traffic signage and menu board updates; track field execution with photo receipts.
+ Schedule customer meetings, trainings, and follow‑ups; keep shared calendars organized.
Field Foodservice Support (approx. 40%)
+ Execute new program launches, resets, and seasonal/LTO sets (roller grill, hot case, ovens/micros as applicable).
+ **Train** store teams on product build, hold times, daypart merchandising, and basic waste‑reduction SOPs.
+ Conduct quick store audits (availability, freshness, facings, pricing, signage, cleanliness) and fix basics on the spot.
+ Verify pricing, date/label product, front & face, collect before/after photos; share wins and gaps with the sales team.
+ Partner with sales to prioritize doors and build lightweight action plans with operators.
Travel & Schedule
+ **Hybrid cadence:** typically **2–3 field days/week** and **2–3 admin days** (office/home). Early mornings are common for trainings and resets.
+ **Territory:** Northeast Ohio within ~ **75 miles** of Cleveland (final routing assigned by manager).
+ **Mileage & vehicle:** ~ **1,500 business miles/month** on average (varies by season/launches). Reimbursed via **Cardata** (FAVR program).
+ **Phone stipend:** **$50/month** to support field communication (photos, Teams, GPS, Cardata app).
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
+ 10% Foodservice case growth YoY.
+ **Planogram/pricing compliance** % across assigned stores; **voids closed** and OOS reduction.
+ **Waste as % of sales** trending down; **sales lift** on focus SKUs and LTOs.
+ **Quality store visits** /week with photo documentation and quick follow‑ups.
Additional Information
+ Adheres to company policies on safety, cleanliness, and applicable food handling standards (e.g., BRC/FDA as required by site/customer).
+ This role may occasionally assist with trade shows, customer events, or vendor trainings.

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• At least 1 year of sales support, merchandising, or foodservice experience; strong follow through and operator friendly communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with CRM (Salesforce or similar).
• Must own a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license, current auto insurance with a clean MVR driving record.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods in stores, and start early when needed.
• Comfort working in coolers/hot case areas and following store hygiene standards.
