As a **Security Professional - Retail Patrol Specialist** in **Miami, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment, responding to situations as they arise, and supporting a culture built on teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the retail or mall environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.

+ Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with crowd management as needed.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical incidents, following established procedures and protocols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to tenants, employees, and visitors.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
