As a **Security Professional - Manufacturing Site - Access Control** in **North Chesterfield, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing badge access, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.

+ Assist with enforcing site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and visitor management.

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches in accordance with company and client procedures.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
