As a **Security Professional- Armed Financial Center - Full Time** in **Charlotte, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within a financial institution environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. What You’ll Do:
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
+ Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.
+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or requests for assistance from staff or visitors.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
+ Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by the client.
+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
