As a **Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Full-Time** in **Dundalk, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail location. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while always acting with integrity.

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining awareness of activities within the retail environment.

+ Collaborate with store staff and/or management to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
