    As a **Security Officer Access Control Residential** in **Anaheim, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

     

    As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a residential setting, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment for residents and guests, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties.     Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the residential community.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify any security-related concerns.

    + Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.

    + Work collaboratively with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

    + A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

    + Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
