As a **Security Officer - Distribution Facility - Full Time** in **Moncks Corner, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and assets. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication skills and commitment to customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily responsibilities. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and/or escalation as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.

+ Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.

+ Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations and coordinating with first responders when necessary.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
