This internship offers an immersive experience with the Conference and Media Services Team at the Mirro Center, supporting audio-visual and technology operations across its Conference Rooms and Grand Hall. Interns will work with cutting-edge equipment including VizRT TriCaster, Panasonic PTZ cameras, Yamaha digital audio mixers, DMX-controlled lighting systems, and a wide array of microphones and speakers.

Responsibilities include assisting with live event production, maintaining conference room technology, and supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and Parkview Health’s AV systems. Projects will focus on hands-on event support and technical upkeep, providing valuable exposure to real-world media operations. Ideal candidates should have a background in media or video production, strong communication skills, and a passion for learning in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

The internship schedule is flexible, ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week, with shifts adjusted based on event timing—whether early morning or late evening. When events are not scheduled, interns will focus on equipment maintenance and hands-on learning opportunities. Preferred fields of study include broadcast, media production, audio engineering, and lighting design. Interns will gain a comprehensive understanding of event execution from planning through completion, with extensive hands-on training and mentorship. Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. A specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship.
