    Job Description

    Omni Tempe Hotel at ASUis seeking aDishwasher / Stewardto join our team. Located in the heart of downtown Tempe, our hotel features 330 guest rooms, 36,000 square feet of event space, and four exciting food and beverage outlets—including a rooftop restaurant with sweeping views and the city’s largest ballroom. We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals to support our culinary and banquet operations by keeping our kitchens and service areas clean, organized, and running smoothly. We are looking for someone with full availaibility across days and shifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment according to Omni’s sanitation standards.

    + Break down banquet and outlet trays in an efficient and timely manner.

    + Deliver clean wares to outlets, banquet areas, and meeting spaces as needed.

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

    + Properly store all items in their designated areas.

    + Assist with banquet setup, breakdown, and back-of-house organization as required.

    Qualifications

    + Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.

    + Ability to bend, stretch, and reach frequently.

    + Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

    + Strong teamwork and communication skills.

    + Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen support experience preferred.

    *This position is a full-time, on-site position with no work from home flexibility.
