SUMMARY:
CDL Class A Driver is responsible for an assigned / established daily route to make customer deliveries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Drives truck to deliver refrigerated product to customers’ place of business.
+ Completes all pre and post inspection reports as required.
+ Notes any discrepancies and problems on the Driver Discrepancy Report.
+ Listens to and notes service complaints and reports to supervisor.
+ Bring back rejected or unsold merchandise as authorized on the Credit Slip.
+ Obtains customer signature on receipt as proof of pickup or deliver.
+ Cleans inside of truck. (cab and box)
+ Performs routine maintenance on truck including pre and post inspections
+ Follows all Kayem and DOT policies, procedures and regulations.
+ Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Requires a current valid Class “A” driver’s license and medical card.
+ Driver must have a clean driver’s record for the past 5 years (no accidents or citations)
+ Must be fluent in English, have good mathematical skills, have the ability to read road maps and follow directions.
+ Must be flexible with hours and scheduled workdays.
+ Have the ability if required to lift up to 75 pounds.

Pay Range
The base pay range for this role is $26.50-$33.50 USD/hourly.
The listed salary range represents Kayem Foods’ good faith estimate for this position and represents the minimum and maximum for new hire pay ranges.
Ranges are reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’s rate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued wage growth. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package and is eligible for an annual wage review. Kayem Foods complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
