Join our dynamic team as an Intern at The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis / Memphis. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various aspects of the Bank, equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to qualify for an entry-level role. You will engage in a research project, learn about outreach initiatives, and develop professional competencies such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Additionally, you will build valuable relationships with colleagues and leaders, gaining insight into the Bank's culture.

Goals and Responsibilities:
Research Project:
Topic Selection and Approval:
+ Select and gain approval for a research topic relevant to the Memphis Zone macroeconomy.
In-Depth Analysis:
+ Conduct thorough research and produce a five-page, double-spaced research paper (Calibri 12pt, 1-inch margins, APA citations) on a topic that aligns with both your interests and the Fed’s current priorities [Due last week of internship.
Timeliness and Rigor:
+ Ensure the topic is timely and defensible, considering the Fed’s need for rigorous, nonpartisan analysis under external scrutiny.

+ Receive mentorship from experienced professionals to guide your learning and development.
Skill Building:
+ Develop practical skills through hands-on projects and assignments.

The internship will be 35 hours/week in a hybrid environment. The internship will run 9 weeks starting at the beginning of June.
This is a paid internship, $20-$22/hr depending on your year of school.
