    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a **Technical Support Representative** to join our Commercial team in East Greenbush. In this on-site role, you’ll serve as the key connection between our customers and our technical teams—ensuring smooth operations, quick problem resolution, and exceptional service at every touchpoint.

     

    This position combines customer engagement, technical troubleshooting, and operational support in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

     

    This position is part of the Commercial function located in East Greenbush and will be on-site.

     

    What You’ll Do

    Customer Relationship Management

    + Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering timely, professional, and positive experiences.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships, even in high-pressure situations, to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    + Identify and communicate potential service or instrumentation opportunities to the appropriate sales channels.

    Technical Expertise & Problem Solving

    + Leverage your technical background to troubleshoot, diagnose, and document customer issues effectively.

    + Perform occasional on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs using your hands-on industry knowledge.

    + Manage internal and field service repairs with accuracy and efficiency.

    Inventory & Order Management

    + Conduct monthly inventory audits and manage field service parts to ensure proper stock levels.

    + Process replacement part and consumable orders accurately and promptly.

    + Coordinate return shipments, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

    Sales Support & Customer Service

    + Provide precise quotations and delivery timelines informed by your understanding of manufacturing processes.

    + Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to enhance customer value.

    Continuous Improvement

    + Respond quickly to evolving customer needs and share insights that help improve our products and services.

    + Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to deliver the best support possible.

    What You’ll Bring

    + 3–5 years of **hands-on electromechanical experience** in a manufacturing or service environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.

    + Experience with **instrument repair or technical support** .

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

    + Proficiency in **Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)** .

    + **Associate Degree in Engineering Technology** or a related field preferred—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

     

    The compensation range for this role is $24 - $30 USD per hour.

     

    We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
