Financial Counselor

Seeking candidate with previous medical office and billing experience to serve as financial counselor for busy clinics. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to entering patient demographic/insurance information and entry of office visit charges into EPIC as well as providing financial counseling to patients following established office guidelines. This position requires strong knowledge of insurance plans (including Medicare and Medicaid) and their limitations and CPT/ICD9 coding. The ideal candidate must be energetic, well organized, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure.
