Overview

Element is seeking a motivated **Financial Analyst** to join our Finance team supporting a dynamic business unit. This is a great opportunity for a junior professional with a foundation in accounting and finance to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site at our Warren facility.

Responsibilities

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

+ Analyze P&L statements and balance sheets; assist with month-end close and reporting

+ Partner closely with the business unit to review financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities

+ Prepare mid-month forecasts and track lab-level expenses

+ Assist in capital project business case submissions

+ Build financial models to support strategic decision-making

+ Respond to inquiries and provide insights to stakeholders across teams

Skills / Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

+ At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred

+ Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet)

+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with D365 and OneStream a plus

+ Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ Accounting experience or coursework is a plus

+ Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen or US Permanent Resident
