    Our Wilkes-Barre, PA office is seeking a driven Engineer Intern to join our growing environmental team.

     

    As an Environmental Engineer Intern, you’ll dive into site investigations, support design and remediation efforts, perform field sampling and inspections, and help develop reports and permitting documents, all while gaining hands-on experience and collaborating with experts to solve real-world environmental challenges.

    What You'll Do:

    + Conduct field sampling (soil, water, air) and site inspections

    + Assist with engineering calculations, designs, and conceptual models

    + Support construction materials testing and specification interpretation

    + Perform preliminary human health and ecological risk modeling

    + Research, collect, and enter environmental data

    + Prepare technical reports and visual aids

    + Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and scientists on project tasks

    + Travel occasionally for field assignments

    What You Bring:

    + Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Sciences

    + Relevant coursework in environmental principles

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    + Strong communication and analytical skills

    + Ability to work independently and in team settings

    + Willingness to perform fieldwork and lift equipment

    + Valid driver’s license required

    + 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training (a plus)

    + Experience with environmental modeling or risk assessment tools

    Salary Range:

    20.00 - 23.00
