Maintenance Technician:
My client is seeking a skilled **Maintenance Technician** to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced **automotive parts production** environment. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform both scheduled and emergency maintenance on production equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure.
+ Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
+ Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities to extend equipment life and reduce breakdowns.
+ Accurately document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and system updates using the **CMMS** (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
+ Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and implement efficiency-enhancing solutions.
+ Assist with the installation, upgrade, or modification of machinery and systems.
+ Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
+ Participate in root cause analysis and support continuous improvement efforts, including Lean, TPM, and 5S initiatives.
+ Manage spare parts inventory and support procurement of maintenance supplies.
+ Respond to after-hours and weekend maintenance needs on a rotating on-call schedule.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Technical certification or associate degree in **Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics** , or a related field preferred.
+ 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and PLCs.
+ Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
+ Skilled in the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
+ Strong knowledge of safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and OSHA regulations. Eligible to obtain or maintain a **Journeyman license** . Able to work independently, manage priorities, and respond to equipment issues in a high-pressure setting.Hourly wage of $28-$35 1st shift including full benefits including life, health, dental and vision insurance. Also a 401k match is provided.
**Pay Details:** $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
