Job Summary and Responsibilities

*Must work weekends*

Certified Nurse Assistant performs direct patient care. Provides patient care (bathing, oral care, feeding, ambulation, vital signs). Performs other duties include inventory, documentation, clerical, dietary, light housekeeping and computer input.

+ Assists with patient admission, discharge and transfer

+ Collects laboratory specimens according to hospital protocol, maintaining hospital standard of zero tolerance for mislabeled specimens

+ Assists the nurse/physician during examinations, treatments and procedures as requested

+ Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies

+ Assists in patient/equipment preparation

+ Performs follow-up actions as directed

Job Requirements

Minimum

Completion of C.N.A. program

BLS-CPR American Heart Association (AHA)

First Aid - American Heart Association (AHA)

Food Handlers Card

Finger Print Card

Preferred

Six months acute care C.N.A. experience preferred

Pay Range

$18.00 - $21.03 /hour
