    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    Performs housekeeping duties to maintain an assigned area in a sanitary and orderly condition. This person will report to their direct supervisor. In the event that their supervisor is not available the lead person will report to the Director of Facilities. The person in this position will fulfill the following duties in the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor in addition to their regular duties.

    Job Requirements

    Required:

    + At least two (2) years experience in Hospital Housekeeping experience requred.

    + Ability to read and write English and follow oral instructions required. Willingness to accept additional responsibility required.

    + On the job training with one week of intensive training before any assignment is made.

    Preferred:

    + 1 year of supervisor experience.

    Dominican Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. The hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Neurosurgery at Dominican is also offered through a partnership with Stanford Health Care.

    Pay Range

    $34.79 - $39.61 /hour
