To achieve this goal, we are developing engaging, powerful tools for members to manage their health—informed by latest clinical guidelines and personalization insights based on their claims data. A crucial part of this is digital engagement, which has been proven to drive better outcomes for the consumer and our business.

    Position Summary

    We are looking for a Senior Manager that will be deeply engaged in the launch and product improvement phases for the products in our Diabetes product portfolio. These products include i) our Deprescription product that helps Caremark members with Type 2 diabetes work with a tailored nutrition and monitoring program with the goal of reducing or eliminating their reliance on medication and ii) the Transform Diabetes Care product, a population management product that helps members with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes receive the right support for their unique gaps in care through the provision of tailored resources / services. You will become deeply familiar with the intricacies of our products’ clinical and operational design as a subject matter expert.

     

    Your home will be on the product team. You will work cross-functionally across the Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) care management organization and the broader CVS enterprise—with our clinical operations team, customer experience team and marketers, product operations team, clinical teams, legal/privacy/compliance, client implementation teams, and finance.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage the day-to-day and month-to-month operations of the product, including triaging and facilitating business decisions on potential QC flags and defects

    + Monitor the ongoing KPIs and OPIs of the product, developing insights with regard to crucial areas of improvement, and identify whether critical assumptions to the business case need to be adjusted based on real world observation

    + Ensures that core product KPIs/metrics are correctly formulated and reflect the client-facing value story

    + Collaborate with commercialization and client account teams to formulate client retention and market expansion strategies, articulating the right mix of feature/capability/reporting improvements needed to improve revenue generation

    + Collaborate with client reporting teams to ensure ad hoc inquiries are answered, areas of misalignment vs. product design are proactively identified and addressed, and that the client value story is on track for being delivered (based on established leading indicators)

    + Ensures product guardrails and latest designs are reflected in sales and client-facing materials

    + Supports ongoing client implementations activities

    + Assesses and triages customer requests for product customization

    + Creates and owns the business cases for proposed market expansions, capability/feature improvements, and other backlog items; articulates fully the expected business upside in terms of increased revenue generation

    + Use data-driven insights and a deep understanding of product performance to identify and prioritize a product backlog that will drive differentiation and value creation.

    + Other projects as directed

    The ideal candidate brings a combination strategic and tactical problem solving skills with a “hands-on” orientation, who understands what it takes to drive tangible change, can create a sense of urgency, make decisions quickly, and effectively influence others. This person should be able to demonstrate:

     

    + A deep enjoyment for getting into the details of how products work and defining the business outcomes required product delivery

    + The ability to develop and interpret user stories

    + Structured and logical thinking with the ability to identify and define business problems and issues

    + The ability to succinctly convey complex issues to a diverse range of constituents, both verbally and on paper at all levels of an organization

    + Highly developed project management skills

    + Advanced project management and office software application skills (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel, Visio)

    + Solid relationship-building skills and the ability to foster effective working relations across a cross-functional team including functional and divisional leaders

    + Enjoying working at pace and in a dynamic environment.

    + Going beyond expectations by thinking proactively and delivering more than has been agreed

    + Intellectual curiosity and tenacity with ability and willingness to learn on the fly to understand and solve complex problems

    _Required Qualifications:_

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

    • Experience managing direct reports and providing guidance on their professional development and personal growth.

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in product design or product management (graduate level education may substitute for experience)

    • Experience executing the product development lifecycle

    • Experience effectively working with 10+ colleagues multiple functional areas such as Business Strategy, Commercialization, Clinical Strategy/Support/Operations, Technical Operations, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance

    _Preferred Qualifications:_

    • Advanced degree in a business-related or health-related field

    • Previous experience working with remote teams

    • Previous experience with business case development and metrics development / analysis

     

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $82,940.00 - $182,549.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
