Position Summary:

CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated, strategic and versatile Aetna Technology leader to drive development of Aetna Technology’s Agentic AI-powered solution for unwavering application stability and resilience. This Staff Software Development Engineer role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and has experience in product-centric and modern engineering environments. We are looking for a passionate, driven person who wants to join a high energy and growing team who wants to be on the ground floor of innovation.

Required Qualifications:

+ 7+ years of software development experience

+ 3+ years of Product Owner experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience building and managing technical product teams using Agile framework

+ Experience with back-end applications and/or APIs

+ Experience coaching, mentoring or leading a team

+ Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with a growth mindset focused on agility and development

+ General understanding of core programming and computer science concepts, including Cloud and AI/ML

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
