    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client's remote team based in Dayton, Ohio. This possible contract-to-permanent part time position offers 30 hours per week, and flexibility hours, sometime between 7am-6pm M-F. This is an excellent remote opportunity for someone with QuickBooks Online experience to manage financial transactions for multiple small business clients.     Responsibilities:

    • Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including managing financial records and ensuring accuracy.

    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and on time.

    • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accounts are balanced.

    • Utilize QuickBooks Onlineto manage and organize financial data.

    • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for audits and reporting purposes.

    • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions and records.

    • Assist with preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

    • Adhere to all financial regulations and company policies.

    • Support additional administrative or financial tasks as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online software is required.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

    • Experience performing accurate bank reconciliations.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Strong problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies in financial records.

    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    • Familiarity with financial regulations and best practices.
