Description We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will focus on business-to-business (B2B) collections, managing accounts with past-due balances and ensuring timely resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise in collections and customer service to a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct B2B collection calls to commercial clients to address overdue balances.

• Oversee the collection process for accounts that are 30, 60, and 90 days past due.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to facilitate payment processing.

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and update account information as needed.

• Utilize AS400 software to document collection activities and track account progress.

• Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive financial matters with professionalism.

• Collaborate with internal departments to escalate and resolve account issues effectively.

• Analyze account data to identify and recommend actionable collection strategies. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a collections or accounts receivable role, preferably with a focus on B2B collections.

• Familiarity with AS400 software or similar systems is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills to build positive relationships with clients.

• Detail-oriented and dependable, with a results-driven mindset.

• Knowledge of standard collection processes and billing systems.
