    Things You’ll Do

     

    + Sample asphalt from hot plant and field.

    + Sample aggregates at pits and plants.

    + Control asphalt densities by roller patterns.

    + Core asphalt and fill out excel reports.

    + Perform data filing and quality assurance sample storage.

    + Calculate and report findings through computer programs.

    + Maintain insurable driving record.

    + Ensure a safe work environment.

    Requirements

    + Preferred to have WAQTC: asphalt II & aggregates

    + High school diploma or general education (GED)

    + Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate products and industry quality standards.

    + Intermediate computer skills

    + Ability to safely move up to 70 lbs.

    + Develop knowledge of scales, shakers, ovens and sieves.
