Are you ready to make an impact by ensuring proper administration and financial oversight for vital funding programs? We're looking for a talented Grants and Contracts Analyst to join our team! If you're a detail-oriented professional passionate about delivering accurate financial reporting and fostering collaboration, this role is for you!
What You'll Do
As a Grants and Contracts Analyst, you will take ownership of an assigned portfolio of grants and financial billing activities to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accountability. Key responsibilities include:
Portfolio Management
+ Manage contracts from start to finish, including registration, oversight, and closeout.
Billing and Reporting
+ Prepare and submit timely invoices and billing packages to funders.
+ Provide required financial reports to both government and private stakeholders.
Ledger and Reconciliation
+ Analyze, review, and reconcile program-specific General Ledger accounts.
+ Validate expenditures and reimbursements to ensure compliance with contract limits.
Revenue and Expenditure Oversight
+ Ensure alignment of revenues and expenditures across ledger accounts.
Receivables Management
+ Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and initiate follow-up actions.
+ Respond promptly to grantor inquiries.
Data Analysis and Communication
+ Develop and manage Excel-based control reports and analysis sheets.
+ Generate insightful financial and performance reports to support decision-making.
Team Collaboration
+ Work closely with team members to meet deadlines and project objectives.
Audit Support
+ Assist in both program-specific audits and the organization’s year-end audit processes.
Forecasting and Budgeting
+ Provide funding forecasts and analyses for assigned programs and new opportunities.
+ Coordinate with FP& A for budget development and funding narratives.
Subcontractor Management
+ Monitor compliance, payments, and reporting for subcontractor agreements.
Who You Are
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Strong analytical skills to navigate complex financial data.
+ Organizational expertise to manage billing, reconciliation, and reporting accurately.
+ Proficiency in Excel and financial management tools for creating detailed schedules and analyses.
+ Knowledge of general ledger reconciliations and funder compliance requirements.
+ Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across departments and with funders.
