Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Jamaica, New York. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes while maintaining compliance with company standards. This position requires exceptional organizational skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate billing statements to clients in a timely manner.

• Monitor and manage billing collections to ensure prompt payment and resolve discrepancies.

• Utilize computerized billing systems to input and retrieve data efficiently.

• Collaborate with internal teams to verify billing details and address discrepancies.

• Maintain organized records of all billing transactions for reporting and audits.

• Identify and implement improvements to streamline billing processes.

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding billing issues and provide solutions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all billing activities.

• Generate reports related to billing operations and present findings to management. Requirements • Proven experience in billing functions, preferably in a corporate or similar setting.

• Strong understanding of billing systems and the ability to navigate computerized platforms.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

• Ability to manage billing collections and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to billing processes.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
