    Robert Half Accountemps (Tonawanda, NY)


    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in managing collections, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with accounting software.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage business-to-business collections by communicating with customers and collaborating with internal sales and service teams to resolve invoicing concerns for designated U.S. sites.

    • Prepare and distribute Accounts Receivable Aging reports to monitor outstanding balances.

    • Collaborate with the Finance and Commercial teams to review overdue accounts and develop actionable plans.

    • Assist with cash application and daily cash reconciliation tasks, including working closely with overseas employees.

    • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely resolution of discrepancies in billing and payment processes. Requirements • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related financial role.

    • Solid understanding of fundamental finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles.

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

    • Familiarity with accounting systems such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or D365 is advantageous.

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with personnel located at remote sites.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster effective working relationships.

    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
