    Business Functional Analyst

     

    A company of ours is looking for a Business Functional Analyst to support compliance initiatives and system functions. This role focuses on analyzing outputs related to HR vendor contracts and Workday interfaces, identifying PII, and ensuring alignment with data retention policies. The position also involves cross-team collaboration, incident management, change control, and supporting IT processes to maintain secure and compliant systems. Candidates must be willing to work East Coast hours.

    Responsibilities:

    + Analyze system outputs for PII and assess compliance with data retention policies.

    + Track findings, prepare documentation, and facilitate vendor/HR meetings.

    + Partner with IT to revise, test, and deploy updated interfaces.

    + Support incident management, troubleshooting, and change control activities.

    + Document remediation efforts, monitor processing, and assist with disaster recovery testing.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

    + Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

    + Ability to assess contractual language and collaborate with stakeholders.

    + Familiarity with Workday (not required to configure).

    + Knowledge of Records Retention/Destruction concepts preferred.

    + Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment; on-call support as needed.

    + Onsite availability in King of Prussia, PA, is a plus.
