Description

We’re seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and automation of our enterprise data center and cloud environments. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Cisco UCS, VMware, SAN technologies, and AWS cloud infrastructure, who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.

You’ll be responsible for architecting and maintaining robust, scalable systems that support virtualization, storage, backup, and hybrid cloud operations—while mentoring junior engineers and driving automation through tools like Terraform, PowerCLI, and Ansible.

Architect and manage Cisco UCS infrastructure including blade/rack servers, Fabric Interconnects, and service profiles

Lead administration and optimization of VMware vSphere environments: ESXi hosts, vCenter, clustering, and resource planning

Oversee SAN platforms (e.g., Pure Storage, NetApp), including provisioning, Fibre Channel zoning, and performance tuning

Design and implement enterprise backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data resilience

Drive AWS cloud initiatives, including EC2 provisioning, hybrid cloud integration, and infrastructure scaling

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, PowerCLI, and Ansible

Lead lifecycle management, patching, and capacity planning across physical and virtual environments

Maintain detailed documentation including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and recovery plans

Provide Tier 3 support for escalated infrastructure issues and mentor junior team members

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure solutions with business goals

Requirements

7+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering

Expert-level proficiency with Cisco UCS, including advanced configuration and troubleshooting

Deep experience with VMware vSphere, including HA, DRS, and VM lifecycle management

Strong background in SAN technologies (Pure Storage, NetApp), Fibre Channel networking, and storage provisioning

Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and hybrid cloud architecture

Advanced scripting and automation skills using Terraform, PowerCLI, and Ansible

Solid understanding of backup systems, disaster recovery planning, and data protection best practices

Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems

Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

Ability to lead infrastructure projects and mentor junior engineers
