Warehouse Lead

Job Description:

Direct daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate receiving, handling, storage, picking, issuing, and shipping. Maintain inventory system accuracy while guiding team performance and supporting process improvements. Job duties:

+ Oversee daily activities of Warehouse Material Handlers by assigning tasks, balancing workloads, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and accurate completion throughout the shift.

+ Monitor the receiving process by following established internal procedures to prevent errors and ensure all pending orders are accurately staged on pallets for efficient handling.

+ Manage and assign put-away and production picking tasks, ensuring timely delivery of materials to Operations and R&D teams while meeting lead times for key warehouse processes to maintain efficient material flow.

+ Coordinate shipments from the pre-sterile team to the sterilization vendor and promptly escalate any delays or backlogs to the Warehouse Supervisor for resolution.

+ Monitor shipping activities—including Stock Transport Orders (STOs), Shipping Requests, and RGA kits—to ensure they meet internal lead times and escalate any delays or support needs to the Warehouse Supervisor.

+ Ensure Warehouse Material Handlers accurately maintain inventory data.

+ Report inventory shortages and discrepancies at the warehouse to the Warehouse Supervisor and Buyers.

+ Coordinate and track cycle counts with the team, recording completion times based on location size, and promptly address discrepancies by escalating to the Warehouse Supervisor when necessary.

+ Coordinate break schedules across all shifts.

+ Participate and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.

+ Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary: $20.00 - $27.00/hour Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.

Qualifications:

1. HS diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum three (3) to four (4) years of general warehouse or related experience.

3. Ability to lead and train teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.

4. Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

6. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.

7. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

8. Ability to multitask and successfully adhere to deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

1. Demonstrated ability to train others effectively in technical and procedural tasks.

2. Strong organizational skills to manage daily operations and support continuous improvement.

Physical

1. Extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer use.

2. Extended periods working in a warehouse environment.

3. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

4. Ability to operate Warehouse machinery as required.

5. Use of Personal Protective Equipment as required (PPE).
