Sunstates Security is hiring full-time and flex Security Officers in Portland, OR. The pay rate for these positions is $22.75/hr -paid weekly. All days and shifts are available.

Requirements:

+ One year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.

+ Excellent customer service skills including but not limited to conflict de-escalation.

+ Regularly standing or walking for extended periods of time and distance (70%+ of a shift).

+ Reliability regarding attendance, punctuality, uniform appearance and completion of company training.

+ Sound judgment & problem-solving techniques under pressure in a fast-paced noisy environment.

+ Comprehension and communication of information and ideas in a clear and concise written form.

+ Completing tasks thoroughly with a high degree of attention to detail.

+ Exceptional Report Writing Skills

+ A willingness to work independently, in all weather conditions, and on nights & weekends.

Demonstrated desire to pull additional shifts, including potential overtime, as needed.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
