Key Responsibilities
+ Visit active job sites to observe digging activities and ensure all safety procedures are followed
+ Work directly with homeowners, contractors, and utility crews to promote safe digging practices
+ Learn to identify and mark underground utility lines using company tools and technology
+ Assist in verifying and updating utility line markings as needed
+ Maintain accurate records of site visits, communications, and activities using company tools
+ Perform routine checks to confirm marking accuracy and compliance with safety standards
+ Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and vehicle through regular care and upkeep
+ Respond to job site requests and support teammates during time-sensitive situations
+ Contribute to a safety-first culture by following best practices and working collaboratively with your team
+ Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor while growing in the role
What You Bring to SAM
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
+ Good communication and teamwork skills
+ Ability to work independently in the field, problem-solve, and adapt to changing conditions on job sites
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Familiarity with 811 dig laws and safe excavation practices is preferred, but training will be provided

Salary Maximum
USD $24.00/per hour

USD $19.00/per hour
